Darley Porpoise™
For more than two decades Darley has offered high-volume floating pumps known as the Dolphin™ powered by dependable Briggs & Stratton engines. This has been a great product for use in streams, ponds, and swimming pools. Recently, a team from Darley and Briggs & Stratton joined forces to make the new affordable, lighter and more compact Porpoise™ floating pump. The Porpoise™ couples a 190cc Briggs & Stratton Professional Series engine coupled to a proven Darley 2BE water pump to provide nearly 300 gpm at 7 psi for tank fill applications, or up to 100 gpm at almost 40 psi for fire suppression. The Porpoise™ is easily transportable and conveniently fits in a standard fire truck compartment.
