Griphoist wire rope hoists are in daily operation around the world putting power where it is needed for lifting and pulling a wide variety of loads. It is particularly useful for longer pulls and higher lifts since any length of rope can be used.
The TU series uses a different jaw shape than the T500 Griphoist series hoist. The T500 has 2 same shape jaws; whereas the newer TU hoist has U-shaped jaws which have more grip to make the hoist stronger. Due to its strength and durability, the TU series Griphoist hoist is approved by UL and is qualified to be used as man-riding equipment.
Designed specifically to be used with Griphoist wire ropes of any length. The wire ropes can be easily removed and replaced with longer Griphoist wire ropes
